Novacastrians are rallying around a young Adamstown Heights family that lost all of their possessions in a fierce house fire.
Flames ripped through the home in Terence Street at about 3pm on Friday afternoon.
The family has twin boys, while the mother is five months pregnant.
Nearby Belair Public School quickly put the call out for donations to help them get back on their feet.
The response from the community has been overwhelming, with many people offering clothes and furniture.
The school is encouraging donations to be dropped off at its hall on Monday morning.
