Fire has completely destroyed a house in Woodberry.
Firefighters received several Triple-0 calls just after midnight, with reports of a home in Sophia Jane Avenue well alight.
Eight fire trucks from across Hunter were needed to tackle the raging inferno.
It took them more than 90 minutes to contain the fire.
Two 25 year old women managed to get out of the home uninjured.
The garage was damaged, along with a car parked in the driveway.
It appears two LPG cylinders exploded during the fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW says the blaze was so intense, there were fears for neighbouring homes.
Crews prevented the flames from spreading, however the neighbouring homes were scorched from the radiant heat.
The cause of the fire is unclear.
