A group of teenagers has led police on a high speed chase through several Hunter suburbs this morning.
The pursuit started in Wilkinson Avenue at Birmingham Gardens just after 4am, with the Holden Cruze reaching speeds of 140km/h.
The chase ended half an hour later in Metford, where the driver and passengers got out of the car and fled into bush.
Two boys were arrested after being tracked down by a police dog.
A girl handed herself into police shortly afterwards, while two other girls remain on the run.
