A pregnant Wallsend teenager has tragically drowned after suffering an epileptic fit.
19 year old Meg Walsh was found unresponsive in the bath at a friend's place on Saturday.
Nine.com.au reports her friend got her out of the water and started to perform CPR.
Meg was rushed to hospital but went into cardiac arrest and sadly passed away in hospital.
She had suffered epilepsy from the age of four but controlled the condition with medication.
Her devastated family say she'd started suffering absent seizures more frequently once she fell pregnant, with her new hormones interfering with her epilepsy medication.
Meg was 14 weeks with her first child at the time of her death.
She'll be laid to rest on Monday.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help pay for her service.
