A suspended learner driver has lost her licence again, after being clocked speeding at Wallsend.
Police say the 19 year old from Wickham was travelling at 143km/h in a 90km/h zone on the Newcastle Link Road in her Daewoo Lanos late Sunday night.
She's off to court on April 27 on several traffic offences.
Meantime, a man who fled a crash in Newcastle West has been tracked down allegedly drunk behind the wheel.
It's claimed the 34 year old took off from a prang in Steel Street on Sunday night.
He was later stopped by police in Darby Street, Cooks Hill, allegedly blowing 0.236.
While a 26 year old Metford man also lost his licence, after trying to flee police at Hexham.
Police spotted his car on the side of Maitland Road on Sunday morning, which had two blown out tyres.
As the officers approached, the car sped off travelling 700 metres on alloy rims before eventually coming to a stop.
The 26 year old Metford driver allegedly blew 0.153.
