A Hunter man who won $200,000 in the Lotto says he plans to use his winnings to create a wildlife refuge.
NSW Lotteries contacted the lucky punter Monday morning.
“I’m hoping to try and buy some land where we can release wildlife and start up a wildlife refuge,” he said.
“We’d like to get some land adjoining a national park so we can rear animals, and release them and they can come back if they want to come back."
“Around here we’ve got snakes, birds, kangaroos, quolls and all sorts of things. We want to set it up so we can handle anything.”
He purchased the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket from Greta Newsagency.
