Customer Pulls Gun On Argenton Workers After Argument

Staff fled to a back room

Staff at an Argenton convenience store have been threatened with a shotgun, during a frightening encounter with a customer.

It's claimed a man and a woman became involved in an argument with the staff at the Lake Road shop yesterday afternoon.

They left, only to return a short time later with the man allegedly armed with a gun.

Terrified workers fled to a back room where they locked themselves inside and called police.

The 34 year old man left.

He was arrested last night at Belmont Police Station and is off to court today.
