Police have now charged a man with the murder of Belmont woman Carly McBride.
A 39-year-old was arrested at a home in San Remo on the Central Coast this morning.
Detectives allege he was in a relationship with mother of two before her disappearance in 2014.
He's been refused bail ahead of facing Wyong Court this afternoon.
Police have also revealed a second man will be arrested in Lithgow later this week in relation to the 31-year-old's death.
It's claimed he knew both Carly and the accused.

The mother-of-two disappeared on September 30, 2014, and after several extensive searches in bushland and properties in the Hunter Valley, police found her remains last year in roadside scrub on the outskirts of Scone.
A 39-year-old man from San Remo on the Central Coast was arrested in relation to the murder this morning.
Detectives have also executed a search warrant at the man’s home in nearby Buff Point.
