Today marks one year since a tragic accident on Hillsborough Road at Warners Bay, which claimed the life of teen swim star Jade Frith.
The 15 year old was crossing the notorious road on her way to swim training, when she was hit by a car.
She sadly passed away in hospital a few days later.
Her death prompted widespread calls for the road to be made safer for pedestrians.
However in the past 12 months, not much has been done.
Charlestown MP Jodie Harrison says a traffic study is underway, but we're no closer to seeing work begin.
"It's certainly very frustrating that the study is taking so long. Obviously once the study is completed, the issue is then getting funding," she said.
