'The Sun' Incorrectly Publishes Prince Philip's Death

As speculation swept the world surrounding an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace - at least one publication jumped the gun.

UK tabloid 'The Sun' uploaded a story to their homepage reporting the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had passed away just after 8am, local time.

"Prince Philip dead at 95, how did the Duke of Edinburgh die, etc, etc" the headline read. The copy of the article appeared to be a work in progress.

While the article was only online for moments, it didn't escape some Twitter users' eagle eyes:

The real reason for the meeting was later revealed to be the announcement of  Prince Philips retirements from public duties.
