A man has been charged after allegedly throwing a lit firecracker on stage during a Shannon Noll concert last week.
The bunger landed near a band member during the gig at a club on Sportsman Way, South West Rocks. He tried to stamp it out however it exploded under his foot, burning a hole through his shoe. He was treated at the club for burns before being taken to Kempsey Creek Hospital.
A 27 year-old man was arrested at Port Macquarie Police Station this afternoon. He will appear in Kempsey Local Court in late September.
Twitter user Jessica posted a photo showing that this isn't the only time fans have thrown things at Nollsy, with him pictured holding chicken fillets pegged at him by a woman in the crowd in Canberra.
