Brisbane Police are investigating the death of a little girl, after she suffered cardiac arrest at a home on Brisbane's northside.
Emergency crews were called to Ridge Street, Northgate at about 3.30pm on Thursday afternoon. Paramedics found the 2 year old unconscious and suffering cardiac arrest.
She was revived by CPR, and transported to the Lady Cilento in a critical condition.
It was the Queensland Ambulance crews who called Police to the scene.
Tragically, the little girl passed away overnight.
Neighbours have spoken with Channel 9, saying the news comes as a shock.
"Everything was very quiet, I was quite amazed because there was no noise and all of a sudden all these ambulances were everywhere"
"There's never any sound comes from there, nothing that gave me an indication that something was wrong. I was quite amazed. There was ambulances everywhere, there were police everywhere"
A man and a woman are assisting police with inquiries, but no one has yet been arrested.
